Kuala Lumpur, March 12, 2008 - TH Properties Sdn Bhd, developer
of the RM9.2 billion Bandar Enstek township
in Negeri Sembilan, has appointed Zaharuddin
Saidon as Chief Executive Officer effective
March 1, 2008.
Zaharuddin replaces Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim who
has left to helm the development of the Madinah
Knowledge Economic City in Saudi Arabia.
No stranger to TH Properties, Zaharuddin has served the
company since 1997 in various capacities, with
his last appointment being General Manager.
A pioneer at TH Properties, Zaharuddin was closely involved
in the development and implementation of Bandar
Enstek's master plan which resulted in the transformation
of the township into the prime suburb of KLIA,
supported by an extensive network of industrial,
commercial, residential and institutional properties.
Prior to joining TH Properties, Zaharuddin worked with
Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd, Shell Marketing
Company of Borneo and SPPK Sdn Bhd.
Zaharuddin holds an MBA-Finance (Australia), Bachelor of
Science (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering (UK)
and a Diploma in Islamic Studies (IIUM). He
is a member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia
and an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Lead Assessor.
TH Properties Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lembaga
Tabung Haji, which is a pilgrims' fund management
institution under the purview of the Prime Minister's
Department and has extensive experience in the
development of large-scale planned communities
and townships.
